Cold Hardy Red Rose
We have several cold hardy roses that do well in our climate with little care.
Edelweiss
Edelweiss reminds me of "The Sound of Music" film. The perennials have filled out a few reseeded over the years.
Vine Campanula
I buy two plants of this annual each year and they climb at least 8 feet.
Trellis Arch Bench
Nice place to sit on a summer day.
Sedum
One of many we have. Does well with our harsh conditions.
Geezer Garden
Annual larkspur, cotoneaster, and low golden rod.
Shrubs & Trees Between Bloom Times
Garden seen from front walk gets ready for fall bloom.
Annual Poppies
California and Shirley Poppies against Pinon Pine in Geezer Garden.
Russian Sage, Golden Rod, and a yellow composite
Russian Sage starts showing its lavender color. It mixes well with yellow blossoms.
Purple Clemetis
If only it'd reach the top of the trellis. I don't have this against a wall so tried to protect it from the wind by placing near the gazebo.
Perennial Coreopsis
Perennial Coreopsis is known for its long bloom time. I don't have much success with them returning the following year. I'll have my fingers crossed.
Marguerite Daisy - Susanna Mitchell
Long blooming and very xeric druing the summer months. However, I've had trouble with it wintering over in the past.
